The home sits just above Wednesday Bay in Seven Bays. Enjoy the pristine sand beach in the bay just a short walk down a trail (approximately 500 feet. Launch your boat at the Seven Bays Marina and tie up in Wednesday Bay. Seven Bays Marina has a small store and gas is available there. You won’t believe what kind of sunsets can happen here. The proximity also benefits beach access. Within the whole community, there’s only one trail taking you down to the beach. Our property is one of the closest ones! The trail leads to a small bay that has a wonderful sandy beach protected from wind and can serve as a great spot to moor your boat if you plan on bringing one. Bring a couple beach chairs and a cooler and have yourself a day! What’s Outside: The entrance side of the house offers a well-maintained lawn and covered patio if you’re looking to enjoy the evening air while gaining respite from the sun. If you’re in the mood to watch a sunset, a deck wraps around from the back of the house to the river-facing side. The kitchen is fully stocked and should provide you with everything you need for your stay. What’s Downstairs: A bonus room—accessible only via a sliding door on the river side of the house. If you’re looking for a fun and comfortable spot for the group to hang out indoors, this is the place for you! It has several couches and the only TV in the house We have it hooked up to an Apple TV—a device that allows you to log in and access several online streaming services. It is HDMI compatible if you would like to bring your own device. To be completely honest, this part of the house is straight out of the 1970’s… but we kind of like it that way. It has a dart board! And a couch covered in flowers… and a strange collection of golf balls. Really it’s great, you’ll love it. Guest access The entire upstairs is open and available for your enjoyment. There is a TV room located downstairs and can be accessed through a sliding door on the water side of the house. The garage and remainder of the basement are set aside for storage and are unavailable for guest use at this time. Unwind at Corkscrew Cabin at the end of Corkscrew Bay on Scenic Lake Roosevelt. Sit on the large covered deck and take in the surrounding forest, wildlife and view of the lake through the trees! A short walk will take you to the end of a deep bay with access to the beaches, fishing, and gorgeous scenery of the lake by boat. Gather around the dining table, which is open to the Kitchen and Living Room. BBQ and dine outside on the deck. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are also on the main floor. One bedroom features a king bed, and the second bedroom has a queen and twin bunks. The basement provides a ping-pong room, media room, and laundry room. Trails on the property create opportunities to take a stroll or bike. Take a shot at the 9-hole Frisbee Golf Course! The cabin is very remote. The only neighbors are the campers in the summer at Camp Na-bor-lee at the end of the road (campground by reservation only.) DNR lands are close by for hunting. Experience the wilderness without Wi-Fi, cell service is weak, or unavailable (Verizon has service in spots.) No AC or dishwasher. The last few miles of road are dirt/ gravel. Located on the Lake between two boat launches, Hunters and Fort Spokane, each less than 20 miles away (10 miles by boat.) Fuel docks and general store are at Two Rivers across from Fort Spokane. A short 2 minute drive to a private parking lot and walk a quarter mile into Enterprise Beach where you can camp out on a first come first serve basis, or explore and have fun fishing or water sports. Closest boat launches are Hunters (25 min drive and only 7 mi from Enterprise by boat), or Fort Spokane (15 min drive, explore Spokane River or head towards Grand Coulee Dam). We do not guarantee beach spots, but typically folks are gracious and its a nice large beach area! Busiest time with less beach is the month of July when water levels are high.
